2. Infrastructure Cost Estimation & FinOps Disclaimer

All outputs generated by the Daktan TCO Calculator, as well as rate cards, breakeven equations, and architectural examples published across our 18 technical guides, are provided strictly for informational and capacity-planning purposes.

Actual cloud invoices from third-party vendors may vary due to regional tax assessments, binary-to-decimal unit conversions (`GiB` vs. `GB`), 128 KB minimum object size padding, 30-to-180-day early deletion penalties, TLS framing overhead, or custom enterprise agreements. Daktan does not provide formal financial, accounting, or legal advice. Always verify current pricing and contractual terms directly with your cloud service provider prior to executing production migrations or infrastructure changes.

3. Production Code Snippets & Configuration Policies

Configuration examples—including Terraform HCL definitions, AWS S3 Lifecycle JSON policies, Cloudflare Worker scripts, Nginx `proxy_cache` blocks, Kubernetes `Service` YAML manifests, and CLI commands (`rclone`, `s5cmd`, `ffmpeg`)—are provided under the MIT License for reference and adaptation.
